I. Background and Purpose
Purpose
This Code is intended to raise a sense of responsibility among participating content creators in complying with applicable laws and regulations, ensure the integrity of all produced content including videos and photographs, and establish a response framework for potential issues such as the spread of misinformation and copyright infringement as well as respect for diversity.

To build a participant management system and provide a clear direction for stable production of content and operations by specifying disciplinary measures, corrective actions and requirements for improvement in cases of policy violations.
II. Main Provisions
To properly represent the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, K-influencers shall uphold the honor and reputation of the Republic of Korea and the K-influencer program. Through their content, K-influencers shall contribute to introducing Korea to the world and promoting cultural exchange. K-influencers acknowledge the social and ethical responsibilities associated with their content and shall refrain from creating content that violates fundamental social ethics and norms. To that end, K-influencers hereby pledge to observe the following principles:
Article 1. Accuracy of Information
No creation of content based on false, distorted or unverified information
Refraining from the use of malicious expressions, prejudice and provocative language and ensuring all information is accurate and accompanied by proper source attribution
Article 2. Ethics in Communication Among K-influencers
K-influencers shall respect fellow K-influencers and refrain from abusive language, slander or discriminatory remarks or behavior of any kind.
K-influencers shall not interfere with or coerce the content creation activities of other K-influencers.
Article 3. Requests for Media Coverage Cooperation
When covering events, K-influencers shall comply with the organizer's filming guidelines and event policies including those governing copyrights and portrait rights.
K-influencers shall not request media privileges, press cards or preferential treatment without prior consultation with the organizer.
Article 4. Respect for Rights and Consideration for Sources
K-influencers shall not use another person's copyrighted work in their content without the express permission of the copyright holder.
Prior consent shall be obtained before displaying another person's face or name in content.
K-influencers shall respect the honor and privacy of interviewees and fully consider their intentions during the content production process.
When filming in public or locations requiring a permit, K-influencers shall fully comply with all applicable permission procedures.
Article 5. Appropriateness of Content
As content creators, K-influencers shall respect differences in nationality, region, religion, gender, race and language throughout the reporting and filming process and within the content itself, and refrain from creating content that incites conflict or discrimination.
K-influencers shall not produce provocative content solely to attract views including sexually suggestive material, violent scenes or hate speech.
K-influencers shall strictly comply with the policies and community guidelines of all global platforms that present or display their content, avoiding any actions that could result in copyright violations or content restrictions.
Article 6. Abuse of Position and Pursuit of Private Interests
K-influencers shall not misuse or exploit the name of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism or the K-influencer program for matters unrelated to official K-influencer activities.
K-influencers shall not seek personal financial or non-financial gain or pressure individuals or organizations in exchange for content.
Any economic interests including advertisements or sponsorships shall be clearly disclosed through platform-specific features (e.g., YouTube's paid promotion label) and explicitly described in the content description. K-influencers shall not engage in false or exaggerated advertising of any kind or pursue unfair profits.
Article 7. Compliance with Content Deadlines
K-influencers shall produce and publish all required content by the deadlines specified by the program operators.
Article 8. Prevention of Violations of Content Creation and Reporting Rights
If interviewees make unreasonable demands beyond the scope of normal media cooperation like excessive requests or demand for all raw footage, K-influencers shall not handle the matter on their own and instead report it to the program operators and follow official procedures.
Article 9. Measures for Violations
K-influencers shall comply with the Code of Ethics for K-influencers set by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
In the event of a violation, K-influencers shall accept disciplinary measures taken by the Ministry that could include dismissal from the program and permanent disqualification from participation.
Article 10. Effective Date
